Grief Support & Death Work
Emerging
Grief and creativity are like the fog. Some days it's clear and others... well - drive slow and it will eventually clear up.
During April and May, I've had to practice what I preach. Allow, feel, and move. I've had some really wonderful moments and some really hard moments.
Most of you know my heart dog, Foxy, died 2 days before the big event I hold in Hershey, PA. As much as I felt prepared, I don't think anyone can really be prepared for when they're actually gone.
Then, the following month, I decided to create my course, Become a Death Doula. Starting from what I teach with my one-on-one mentees, and adding videos, written lessons, homework, quizzes, handouts... it has been a ride.
And so, June 1st, I soft-launched it to my inner circle people and today, I finally feel as though I'm emerging from the fog of grief…
I believe critters hold just as much space in our hearts (sometimes more) than a lot of the humans we interact with. ❤️🩹 Hold on tight & do your best to keep riding this bull we've named "Life."
